DomashnoAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is an educational Android application that generates homework exercises for students in grades 1-12 following the Bulgarian national curriculum. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Child profiles: First name and grade level (1-12) of children added to the app. We do not collect last names, dates of birth, or any other personal identifiers.
• Exercise history: Generated worksheets, answers marked as correct/incorrect, and progress data.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Number of generations used, stored locally on your device.
• Purchase data: Token purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store payment information.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Photos, contacts, or files
• Browsing history
• Analytics or tracking data

2. How We Store Your Data

All personal data (child names, grades, exercise history, progress) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not have servers that store your personal information. If you uninstall the app, all local data is permanently deleted.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google Gemini API

When you generate exercises, the app sends the following information to Google's Gemini API:

• Grade level (e.g., "5th grade")
• Subject name (e.g., "Mathematics")
• Difficulty level
• Current date (to determine curriculum period)
• General topic areas where the student needs practice (no personal data)

We do not send child names, personal identifiers, or any data that could identify your child. Google's API processes the request and returns generated exercises. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

3.2 Google Play Billing

Token purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. Google's terms apply: https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

DomashnoAI is designed to be used by parents/guardians to generate exercises for their children. The app:

• Does not require account creation or login
• Does not collect personal information from children
• Does not contain advertising
• Does not include social features, chat, or user-generated content
• Does not share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
• Stores only first names and grade levels locally on the device

5. Data Security

We implement the following security measures:

• All network communication uses HTTPS encryption
• Data is stored locally on your device only
• API keys are restricted to our application package
• No remote servers store your personal data

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: View all your data within the app (History, Progress screens)
• Deletion: Delete individual children (and their history) via the app, or uninstall the app to delete all data
• Portability: Export worksheets as PDF files
• Restriction: You can stop using the app at any time

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Exercises, answers, and explanations in DomashnoAI are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, particularly in complex calculations, specific dates, literary quotes, and specialized facts. We recommend that a parent or guardian verify answers, especially for upper grade levels. The app is a supplementary educational tool and does not replace teachers or textbooks.

8. In-App Purchases

DomashnoAI uses a token-based system:

• 5 free tokens are provided upon installation
• Additional tokens can be purchased via Google Play
• Tokens do not expire
• Each exercise generation consumes 1 token
• Purchases are non-refundable (subject to Google Play's refund policy)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
